Samiti membership shall be granted to those who fill up the
prescribed application form in all respect, sign and process through the channel along with
the membership fee as applicable. The Samiti has the following categories of membership:
a) Patron. Those who pay a Patronship fee of Rs. 25,000/- including an admission fee of
Rs. 11/- in lump sum or in two installments within one year. Those who are not able to
complete payment in one year shall automatically be considered as a Life member,
irrespective of the amount paid which is non refundable.
b) Life Member: Those who pay a membership fee of Rs. 1200/- including an admission fee
of Rs. 11/- in lump sum shall be considered as Life Member.
Note:
i) A life member can request for conversion as Patron membership any time during his
lifetime, after paying the patron membership fee less already paid.
ii) A member can hold only one type of membership at any given time.
c) Honorary Member: At the absolute discretion of the Managing Committee, a
Honorary Membership can be bestowed on an individual, without collecting any
fee whom the MC feels that he shall help and / or assist in promoting the Aims &
Objects of the Samiti. Validity of the Honorary membership shall be a maximum of
three years and the MC can review and take a decision whether to continue or
cancel his membership based on his services. A Honorary Member shall NOT
have the right to vote in any type of meetings but as an invitee can attend
meetings, except Special meetings.
a) Membership of the Samiti shall be open to any person who has attained the age of 18
(eighteen) years or above on the date of enrolment who subscribes to the Aims and Objects
of the Samiti, irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region and stand in good stead in
Society.
b) Any person desirous of being admitted as a member of the Samiti shall fill up the
prescribed application form which shall be placed before the Managing Committee (MC) by
General Secretary for consideration, on receipt of necessary fees.
c) The Managing Committee shall have absolute discretion, either to accept or reject the
form of any person for membership, without assigning any reason thereof.
