Sree Narayana Vidyalay (SNV) was established in 2009 for imparting education to children living in the surrounding areas of Sree Narayana Kshetram, Sai Nagar, Mamurdi, Dehu Road. Initially the school started functioning in the temple premises with 35 students. The school was the brainchild of Dr. Vijay Bhanu, Former Professor and Head of the Department of Anthropology, Pune University. The school was opened on 1 st January 2009 at the hands of Mata Vaishali of Apoorva Ashram, Kannur, Kerala.
In 2002 the school shifted to a three storey rented building comprising 13 class rooms. Currently nearly 300 students are receiving education, from Nursery to standard VII. Ours is a co-ed school with students from all walks of life. A group of -- ---- dedicated and hard working Teachers along with ----- three equally hard working Assistants headed by Ms Jayanthi Ayyangar, the Principal.
In August 2019, SNV has again shifted to a three storey building admeasuring 9500 sqft with 23 class rooms and a play ground of 11000 sqft fully secured by compound wall. The school has received Government of Maharashtra approval.
